The Construction Management Certificate is offered by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The Construction Management area of study at Illinois prepares students to manage and direct construction projects in the increasingly global construction industry. The Construction Management faculty includes world-class experts who utilize cutting-edge technology to enable greater efficiency and better collaboration during construction projects. This certificate is designed to allow learners to choose from all offerings in construction management to meet their interests and needs.

Learners who complete this certificate will gain skills in areas of construction management related to the courses taken.

Learning Criteria

• Complete three or four classes in Construction Management for 12 credit hours.
• Earn a B- or higher in each course.
